Sempreviva nominated me and I thank her so much for it! Her blog, Sempreviva’s Sims, is a great read with very nice pictures – absolutely worth the detour, so go ahead and enjoy her stories!
The rules:
- Write 7 interesting facts about yourself
- Nominate 15+ amazing bloggers for this award.
- I love music and listen to absolutely everything – except experimental music… I play the sims with the sound off but with my iPod on.
- Is there anything on earth tastier than ice-cream? All right, peanut butter milkshakes…
- I’m a passionate perfectionist – when I start on something it’s 200 % – sports, writing even cross-stitching. Yeah, I have to admit I love creating and cross-stitching is relaxing as it makes you concentrate all the while your mind travels. A little like jogging, but without the sweaty part!
- I love boats! Any size. I enjoy a silent fishing trip on a Swedish lake as much as a powerboat outing in the Indian Ocean. Bring it on!
- I enjoy the sea, but I hate the beach. Can’t stand when it’s too warm, so if you’re looking for me at the beach, you’ll probably find me in the water!
- I’m a rider and a rider’s mom – first sat on a horse at age three and have never really stepped down since!
- I’m very fond of rain, fall is my favorite season! Maybe because I associate thunderstorms with hot chocolate and fuzzy blankets…
I’m aware that some of my nominees have already received this award… But here goes anyway! I nominate:
- Ponderingsky
- Stories by Bee
- Sims 3 Stories by Em
- Simlish Fair
- A Sims Junkie
- Frosted Legacy
- Not JustABookSims
- Never Do It Again
- The Kingston Legacy
- Life’s Lemons

- AdelineRobbins
- Stories in Clay
- Simsophonique & The Sims
Congratulations! Fall is my favorite season, too. I absolutely love it! And I also cross stitch. ❤
Thank you! We’re part of the minority who appreciate Fall, and we cross stitch! People will think we’re a hundred years old 😉
Congratulations and thank you so much for your kind words! 😀
Wow, you’re riding? That sounds so cool (obviously I’ve never done it, lol)!
I also love fall, but mostly the warmer part of it so I guess it doesn’t count! 🙂
I love the November part, with mist rising and the earth smelling of, well, earth! Getting up early and riding out when there’s a chill in the air that makes the horses edgy and jumpy, eager to go is unbelievable! Love it! Then the fact that you often get home drenched and freezing is another story I prefer forgetting about! 😉
Congrats on the award and thanks for the nomination 😀 I’m one of those who’s one it already, but I’m sure I can think of some more 😀
I share your love for autumn – can’t call it my favourite, because every time a new season rolls around I get happy because there’s something about it I like 🙂
It’s really cool that you cross-stitch! I don’t do it myself, but I knit and crochet and I can understand perfectionism.
I’m not as fond of being out on the sea as you (seasickness and a slight fear of water, lol), but I agree that the beach is the actual worst 😛 I hate eating food full of sand and being full of sand and just… sand.
Anyway, your answers were really great – looking forward to seeing if I can come up with some more facts 😀
I ‘m sure you’ll come up with something! Sand is awful, especially by the sea, where the salt mingled with sand is the itchiest ever! I used to crochet and knit, but I stopped when we moved to Africa – it was too warm and sweaty hands aren’t ideal… I love seasons, after living in really warm countries, I’m enjoying the French Alps immensely – terribly hot in summer and snow in winter. What more can you want?
Thank you so much. I don’t think I’d have even noticed you nominated me if it hadn’t been for Louise’s post 😛
I listen to music on my phone while I play with sound off 🙂
Oups! I totally forgot to tell everyone! I’ll blame it on multitasking!
I edited my previous post with 7 more facts here. Hope you find them interesting! 🙂
Just popped over to your blog, it’s fun to get to know you better!
Thanks for the nomination! ❤ Fall is so my favorite season too! All those colors…With Winter as a very close second. I'm a hot natured person.
So you live in Sweden? 😉 My dad served a mission there for our church nearly 50 years ago.
Will get my interesting facts about myself posted soon! 🙂
I live in France right now, in the Alps. Spring is here with flowering trees and lots of snow in the background! Beautiful!
Moi aussi j’éteins le son quand je joue aux sims je n’aime pas le simlish sauf pour les sims original.
Merci pour la nomination et bravo pour avoir reçu l’award.
Merci! Their gibberish really annoys me! I liked the Sims 2 though, their shouting on the swing always got me in stitches!
Pareillement en plus ils disent toujours pareil sauf le simlish dans les sims 1 j’ai adoré lol commena ouchnat Comensnala? lol
I only know TS2 and 3… 🙂
Tu peux entendre le simlish des sims original sur youtube pas besoin d’avoir le jeu , beaucoup de gens en sont restés au classique. Mais c’est vrai que les sims disent toujours pareil peu importe le jeu.
I was too curious, so checked it out. Ils sont tous pareils! 🙂
haha I don’t know I never really heard sims 3
simlish and I don’t remember sims 2.
I don’t know how I’m just seeing this~ Congrats and thanks for the nomination! 🙂
I’m also a fan of nearly all types of music and need to listen to it in the background as I play. I love the rain as well, but I’m more of a spring shower than autumn rain kind of gal. I’ve only ever gone riding a handful of times but I found it super fun, it’s cool that you’ve been at it for so long! It was nice getting to know more about you ❤
Thanks! I know you’ve been nominated for lots of awards, and your blog is great! Cool that we have some things in common – the world is small! 🙂
Hey, I can’t open your page! What’s happening???
