While I was taking the pictures to Shasta and Leonardo’s wedding, I went back and rewrote the whole proposal thing. Adding the glamour expected of a wealthy Count, and the selfish thoughts expected of a very egocentric mother…

      1. I never could imagine a such thing happens, did you throw them on purpose or did they come with the story progression?

      2. The fireworks? I threw them on purpose, just thought it would be logical considering Leonardo’s character and, of course, the size of his bank account! 😀

I'm finally back in Europe after a few years in Africa. How I loved it! The sights, experiences and the adventure. I suffered from the heat though, as a Viking I'm not genetically programmed for +48C (+118°F)... So settling in the French Alps will sure be a challenge - from heat to cold, from dust to snow... Getting started on the biggest project of my life - buying the right wing of a 17th century "château", 15 rooms complete with almost 1m (40 inches) thick walls, no real heating and tricky wifi. Not to mention changing 39 custom made windows... Can tell hubby has his hands full between the Air Force and realizing my projects, but we're getting there, even if it goes slowly!
